Pediatric and Adolescent Health in PLoS Medicine
freely accessible online

April 18, 2006

Dear Colleague,

The peer-reviewed open access journal PLoS Medicine is a top-tier venue for research, commentary, analysis, and debate on the health of children in both developed and developing countries. To mark the Pediatric Academic Societies (PAS) 2006 Annual Meeting, we have gathered together previously published articles on child health in a special Pediatric Collection.

Please feel free to read, share, print, and use these articles anyway you wish, all at no charge—thanks to open access publishing. All we ask is that the authors and source are properly cited.

PLoS at PAS

If you are planning to attend the PAS Annual Meeting in San Francisco, please stop by the PLoS booth (#108) to meet our editors and staff, discuss our journals and the submission process, and learn what it means to publish in an open access journal. We will also have a limited number of T-shirts in all sizes available at the booth for new e-mail table of contents (eTOC) subscribers (first-come, first-served).

PLoS Medicine

If you find this collection of interest, you can:

  • Sign up for regular e-mail table of contents alerts. We will send the first 25 respondents a free T-shirt (one per individual) just to say thanks for joining us.
  • Read additional articles online.
  • Submit your next great paper to PLoS Medicine.
  • Forward this e-mail to colleagues — all PLoS Medicine papers are free to everyone.

With best regards,

The PLoS Medicine Editors
